Since working with Nerijus, I am remarkably stronger, have learned a great deal about connectivity and generating power, and have been free of the hip and shoulder injuries typical of pole athletes.
I can’t explain how much I learned from Nerijus. He is one of the most knowledgable and well-rounded trainers on the planet, and I’m not exaggerating. Not to mention being a great, inspirational coach, both as a person and as an example of what the training can do to your body. The guy is jacked beyond jacked (google Nerijus Bagdonas images). And yet he is more flexible than many yogis, and can jump higher than most athletes. It’s the complete package.
Fast forward to today and I have trained with Train P3 for 3 years now. Looking forward to every session, every week. No matter what we do, it is always a little different and fresh each and every day. If you are serious about health and wellness (no matter what shape you are in) there is no better person to work with. Just be prepared to do the work. It will change you…for the better.
But it was not easy. Twenty minutes and eleven exercises into the workshop, when I was already feeling winded and fatigued, Nerijus declared: ‘ok, so that’s the warm-up, let’s move on to the workout!’ And move on we did, while our gracious instructor carefully checked our form, gave us modifications as necessary, and explained in detail why each exercise was so important.
Every workout begins with a dynamic warm up. I generally hate warm ups, preferring to get right to it. But these warm ups are life-changing, awakening your body and allowing you to reach levels while working out that you otherwise wouldn’t have. He taught me how to design my own workouts, execute exercises with proper form, avoid injury, and maintain the right diet for me. I have had a few trainers, and Nerijus is, without a doubt, the best.
Most importantly for anyone considering working with Nerijus – everything has been done over email and skype. I’m based in London and we’ve never done a one on one in person session! It doesn’t matter where or how experienced you are, Nerijus will put together a diet and training plan that will give you the results you want.
