Train P3 Athlete Highlight – Brian Pedone

brian_pedoneToday I am super proud to highlight one of our athletes, Brian Pedone.  Brian is an exceptional boxing coach and trainer, an entrepreneur and one of the nicest and kindest human beings you will ever meet.   Brian is a fierce athlete!  Although he is fun and supportive to everyone in the group, when training starts, he gives it all!   The progress he has made in the past 8 months in strength, mobility and movement quality have been very impressive.   His consistency, dedication, hard work, patience and great attitude are inspiration to all of us!

Tell us a little about yourself and your interests.

My name is Brian Pedone and I was born and raised in Queens, NY. I went to high school and college in the Poconos in PA. I studied Computer Science and made the 2008 BusinessWeek Top 25 Entrepreneurs 25 Years and Under in America. I invented a boxing fitness product called Quiet Punch that will hopefully hit retail very soon.

What is your athletic background and history of training.

I played basketball and baseball as a kid and was always very active. At 13 years old I started boxing and fell in love. I boxed competitively as an amateur until about 19 years old. At 19 I started training fighters and  worked out with all of them and kept very active with sparring and holding mitts.

How long have you been training with Train P3? And what services do you use?

I have been training with Train P3 now for about 8 months. I started with the privates and now consistently attend the semi-private and group training sessions.

What are some of your favorite things about Train P3?

Being a trainer in NYC I see a lot of clients and also how trainers work with their clients. The first time I saw Nerijus in action I knew he was the best!  Train P3 caters to all levels, but more importantly is really focused on attaining real goals.  I really enjoy the people that attend the sessions, and am constantly impressed with how hard they work.  It is very motivating and is really nice when clients of other trainers watch Train P3 sessions and are blown away:  “You guys could probably be in the circus,” “Whenever you guys train we like to just watch.”  Just some of the random quotes from people in the gym watching Train P3 semi – private sessions.

How is Train P3 helping you improve as an athlete, in life or any other way?

I have never been in this kind of shape.  I came in physically fit and strong, but never at this level.  At 32, I am in better shape than when I was 25.  Train P3 keeps me motivated, happy, and constantly challenges me.  I joined to prepare for an infomercial shoot, but know for a fact that it has become a part of my life.  I will never stop!

Do you have any advice for people who want to start Train P3?

Just try out a session with Train P3, especially if you are serious in wanting to transform your life. I can guarantee that you will learn something, whether it be a new movement or a tweak to something you are already doing.  There is always something to learn at Train P3.  Just do it!
